Oconee County BOC Town Hall Meeting at Civic Center – Feb 16, 2010- 7 to 9 PM

The Oconee County Board of Commissioners is having their second Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Oconee County Civic Center.   The Town Hall meetings are informal with no presiding officer.Citizens can ask any commissioner anything on their mind.

The Town Hall format offers a good opportunity for citizens to ask about lower property assessment values, courthouse plans, budget planning, roads etc.Then citizens can note the answers and use the internet to pass the information to other citizens.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Oconee County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Oconee County Civic Center.  The meeting will be conducted as a “Town Hall” meeting.   Board members will be available 30 minutes prior to and following the meeting for individual discussions with citizens.   The public is invited to attend and will be afforded the opportunity to make comments and ask questions of the Board of Commissioners.
