Oconee Voters Alert – Early Voting is easy until July 16

Yesterday, Friday, July 2, I voted at the Board of Elections Office on Court St, across from the Courthouse. It was quiet, pleasant and easy. Officials said the turnout has been light. According to Lee Becker’s blog, only 414 had cast their votes as of Friday, end of the fourth week. No Independents qualified for local offices.

Early voting ends on July 16 and may be more hectic in the last days.Voters are urged to Vote Early.
